Reply added from duplicate bug 61099: I'm using ubuntu dapper, on amd64, xeon flavour. For what it's worth, all pdfs tried before exhibited the crash, and after the kernel upgrade (last night), I have as yet not had a problem. I will check more, but for the moment looks ok. -- evince crash
