Another occurance... actually the second one today. The common factor
seems to be related to running VirtualBox VMs... any other time and the
display is stable. It's only after running a VM for a while that I run
into problems.

Another one... this time I just killed Xorg before it actually
segfaulted, but I was able to capture a screen shot of what a mess my
desktop became, and also ran the nvidia-report-bug.sh tool and got a
support log, which I'm attaching.
This seems to just happen. I thought it had to do wiht
