The gtk file chooser uses gio, whereas thunar & the rest of Xfce uses thunar-vfs. gio can see windows partitions on the hard drive, thunar-vfs cannot (only partitions on removable devices). This will be fixed in Xfce 4.8, with thunar ported to gio. ** Changed in: xfce4-session Status: New =
