should I report this to upstream mozilla or so something else to fix
this bug, how can I help?
Pplz, any ideas about usability current FF ? I have 4 laptops with
installed 10.04 (snapshot 10-mar). all 4 laptops in use with 4 girls.
They are just simple surfing webpages and cry about stability.
Well, the underlying components in 10.04 are still in flux. What we
need is for this to be retraced, so I'll see if I can get that to
happen. Then we can see about the crash.
Thanks.

hmm, binary compiled ff 3.0 from 8.04 works well, its only 3
packages..so its not a problem related to components I think.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears
to be a regular (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security
issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to
cross

4. started firefox -g and cleared my personal data (cache, history, cookies) and
any ideas about this bug, huh? at this point i rate firefox too unstable
even for alpha, its unusable for me, and google chrome works well but
not ff... sadly but only one release was pretty stable it was 8.04, is
it possible to install firefox from 8.04 to 10.04 with any easy way?
--
status update 2:
1. aptitude purge firefox*
2. installed firefox from hardy directly (just for test)
3.0.18+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1
3. now all works well and stable.

You received this bug
roflmao... just for test, i tried FF 3.0 from lucid repos! amazing, but
it crashes too well, and there is no debug symbols for 3.0 in the
repo... is it possbile to bad gcc code (compilator problem) ?
so, at this point, binary ff from hardy works stable, any other versions
dont

Is there a reason why this is flagged as a security vulnerability?
