I got same problem in Ubuntu 10.10.
When I imported xxx.ovpn which is openvpn settings. It read wrong tls-
auth direction. In the xxx.ovpn file:
tls-auth ta.key 1
and the command line generated by nm-openvpn is:
--tls-auth /opt/etc/vpn11/ta.key 0
mine version is:
Source: network-manager-openv
The import of this configuration fail!
# If a tls-auth key is used on the server
# then every client must also have the key.
tls-auth ta.key 1
