This really depends on the different theming implementations of the various GUI toolkits used by the applications mentioned in this bug: XUL (Firefox/Thunderbird), OOo/LibO's own toolkit, GTK+2 and GTK+3, Qt... So there is very little to do in light-themes to try to solve all the inconsistencies be
