Since Ubuntu switched to logind, I don't think this is ever going to get
fixed.

ubuntu natty, current updates
when starting openbox session with:
ck-launch-session dbus-launch --exit-with-session openbox-session
I get
$ ck-list-sessions
Session16:
unix-user = '1000'
realname = 'psycho'
seat = 'Seat4'
session-type = ''
active = FALSE
This was fixed in LTSP 5.2. `su` was used instead of `ck-launch-
session`, along with $CKCON_X11_DISPLAY and $CKCON_X11_DISPLAY_DEVICE
pam environment parameters, so that now LTSP fat clients properly get an
active CK session.
Closing in LTSP, the problem is still there on consolekit though.
