We're getting openclipart from Debian, so it's best to have it updated there
first. However, no one is really maintaining the Debian package at the moment
(see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=585965 ); it someone
adopts it, they will be your primary point of contact

Just want to correct what I wrote in comment #1: since this package has
some Ubuntu-specific changes, it will have to be merged manually. It
will therefore not appear automatically as I thought. Sorry about that.

BTW, we stopped releasing big huge packages. 2.0 is really our last big
package. Now we only do packaging of smaller packages on demand. Do you
want these? Or, is there a way to submit the smaller packages to debian
and ubuntu?

I attached a bug watch to a bug in Debian requesting a newer version of
openclipart. Since Ubuntu is based on Debian, a newer version included
in Debian will also appear in Ubuntu after a while.
