Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gparted

While installing GParted, the system froze and I was forced to turn off
the laptop. I just installed Ubuntu 9.10 on an Intel Celeron CM540
laptop with 1GB RAM.

I installed it using a Termina and upon rebooting, the computer hangs up
when accessing Gparted in System > Administration.

I cannot open the Main Menu editor also which I intended to remove
Gparted from the list.
