Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-menus
When a menu is bigger than the screen hight, arrows appear to allow scrolling. So i scroll down, till the application I am searching for is displayed. When I move the mouse pointer out of the arrow-field, the menu automatically scrolls back to top (see attached video) instead of remaining where it was. lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu lucid (development branch) Release: 10.04 apt-cache policy gnome-menus gnome-menus: Installed: 2.29.92-0ubuntu2 Candidate: 2.29.92-0ubuntu2 Version table: *** 2.29.92-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://ch.archive.ubuntu.com lucid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Fri Mar 12 11:05:04 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release amd64 (20091027) NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: gnome-menus 2.29.92-0ubuntu2 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-16.25-generic SourcePackage: gnome-menus Uname: Linux 2.6.32-16-generic x86_64 ** Affects: gnome-menus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug lucid -- Gnome menu scrolling problem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/537975 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
