I have seen this again too. I just turned off cursor blinking globally :-/

This is a valid bug. I have upgraded lucid to the latest updates.
In a screen with 10 gnome-terminal windows, a random half of them have a
blinking cursor. Some windows behave normal, which is no focus no
blinking. When I open a new gnome-terminal, the cursor in that window
blinks only when it has
Yes, it does seem to be gone in later lucid updates.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to report this bug and for helping to
make Ubuntu better. However, i cannot reproduce this bug with the latest
