hmm, it's not even starting to call couchdb, so I guess this is a bug in
evolution-data-server. Could you please run e-d-s under gdb and, when it
starts using 100% CPU, CTRL-C and type, at the (gdb) prompt:
(gdb) where
(gdb) thread apply all bt
and paste the output?

then, start Evolution from the menu and try doing the autocompletion.
When it's got to the 100% CPU usage, can you please paste the output in
