Hi, I did a clean installation of 12.04 a few days ago on my T400. When the BIOS is on Switchable graphics mode, the intel chip only recognized the VGA output. Switching to Discrete graphics solves this problem, as the ATI is then running (to dismay of my battery life). I can try to collect
