I tried to reproduce this in Ubuntu Edgy (using Firefox 2.0b2) and
Dapper (Firefox 1.5.0.7), and it works fine for me in both case.

I really should remember to try Safe Mode before reporting a Firefox
bug! It turns out to be a problem with the TabFX extension.
