I was told not to rely on alternatives for xulrunner. I think it's
because it depends on the order of the installed xulrunners.

The ideal way to fix this is to not use versioned binary at all i.e. instead of
doing xulrunner-1.9.2 --gre-version simply use xulrunner --gre-version. In
Ubuntu xulrunner always links to latest version in main through the
alternatives system.
Check output of 'update-alternatives --list
