Reverting is not a good idea since firstly it does not solve the problem and secondly if you have an AMD64 architecture, you'd have to compile gdesklets_0.36.1-3ubuntu1 from source which depends on a whole lot of development packages (totalling over 200MB). -- gdesklets broken since last update h
