Sorry for the delay. Forest is right. I am clicking "switch page
direction". The problem is that I'm not *trying* to click it, it sort of
clicks on itself. i.e. if I just right-click, I click "switch page
direction". To work around this, I should right-click-and-not-release.
This is a laptop touch
Is this still a problem with the latest firefox in Edgy (the latest is
now 1.99+2.0b2+dfsg-1ubuntu2)? I cannot reproduce this on my computer.

I think that you are perhaps accidentally selecting the "Switch Page
Direction" on the context menu that comes up when you right click
anywhere in the page area?

This is still a problem on on edgy's 1.99+2.0b1+dfsg-1ubuntu3 (it can
be reproduces by right clicking on a remote bug watch in Malone) . This
is of course with no extensions/plugins installed
