I recently fixed a bug in brasero where because we were using fwrite() instead
of write() for logging we got truncated log.
Could you check if it helps to fix your bug too?

I ran the genisoimage command manually and captured the stderr output to
a log file. This reveals that Brasero is truncating the error captured
from STDERR in its own log file, seemingly when the path contained in
the error report includes spaces.
