The above information was gathered while using Ubuntu 10.04 with the
latest updates. The acpi=ht was added to the kernel. I would like to
test the latest development release, but as this is a machine that I
have to use on a daily base I really can't do a complete new
installation and I don't have t

shutdown or reboot works perfect, but when I boot after shutting down
Ubuntu the PC sometimes hangs in the BIOS. Sometimes I get the message

Could it be a problem with hardware that isn't recognized? When I look
at the previously attached hardware.html it looks like the 82801G (ICH7
Family) SMBus Controller isn't properly recognized (the lines are red
colored)? I attached the lshw results from Ubuntu 9.04 and the lines are
