I have a T410s with Xubuntu 10.04, and I had been having suspend issues
all of a sudden. After reading post #9, I did realise that the issue had
cropped up about the time I moved a sd-card to my laptop.

and does not have a SD card reader.

I don't have an SD card reader in my T42, and I don't have anything plugged in.
(No mouse, no CD
in the drive, nothin'). So perhaps I have a different bug with these symptoms.

well, I had a serious suspend/resume bug that I just fixed with a BIOS
upgrade (T410,
I have 1RETDRWW (3.23 ), which is the latest T42 bios. I'm 90% sure this wasn't
a problem
before I upgraded the Lucid, so I wouldn't suspect a BIOS issue.

I just went back and tried
2.6.35-999-generic_2.6.35-999.201006151505_i386.deb
I still get the warnings about IOAPIC on boot. I also noticed a warning (during
the installation, I think)
that openafs modules couldn't be built. This time, suspend worked (it's hard to
be really sure, because
