Changing keyboard layout in control-center should update default gdm layout
in .dmrc

Keyboard layout settings are saved only until reboot
1. Yes
2. You should have wrong detected locale (In my case Kongo). Change locale to
correct and reboot. In my case before reboot I had USA and RUS layouts, after
reboot I had USA, RUS and Kongo.
3. It can be fixed by dpkg-reconfigure console-setup
