Added halevt and libboolstuff separately from apt-get and then install hipo. The UI appeared but nothing in the UI is working. Menu opens but clicking on any of them does not do anything. Also, at the bottom, it says, 'No IPOD found' even though my IPOD is connected. Not sure what is wrong and

I had this same bug but i installed some packages using the synaptics package manager and now i am able to open file hippo... but it doesn't detects my ipod video 30G. Does anyone has this same problem? Can you guys help me? But I was able to access my ipod with gtkpod iPod manager though! :D --
