Public bug reported: Binary package hint: grub2
I have an old Dell Inspiron Gerät boot. I think I should have checked sda but I also checked sda2 and sda5 and sda. When I hit <ok> I could see some messages on the screen saying basically "what you are doing is stupid" but the program continued anyway leaving me with a perfect lynx but also with a nowaytobootevenwithrecoverydisk- windows. What I suggest is that the option is greyed out on windows partitions. For specialists like me :-) there could be an expert menu (marked with a skull) . ** Affects: grub2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- grub2 makes killing windows partition easy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/552057 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
