It is really annoying. The problem persists, sometimes it takes a lot of
tries to connect, sometimes only one. Sometimes it disconnects every few
minutes, sometimes stays connected through the night...
The result of: lspci -vvnn | grep 14e4
04:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation
After a new installation, the problem is less intense. Under certain
unknown circumstances I have to do a few tries until it connects, but
usually ends up connecting. The major problem now is instability.
Network-manager gets disconnected a lot.

I have the same problem here with a Macbook pro 5,3.
Connecting to a WPA, WPA2 network it's painful. Sometimes, under certain
particular circumstances it connects right away. Most of the time, it
just doesn't.
For example, If I enter in "recovery mode with network", then login and
"startx", it su
