Hi Geir,
I've attached the output that you've requested including using the
drm.debug=0x04 parameter for the kernel. One other item of note. When I run
'xrandr --verbose' while the screen has the problem, it changes the screen
back to normal. This was repeatable.

Thank you for reporting this bug, Matt. Could you attach the output of
`xrandr --verbose` from when the problem happens and when it doesn't.
Occationally, the output configuration changes when running this command
(even though it shouldn't). Let us know if this is the case.
