Is this still an issue for you? We are trying to trying sort out the
older Mozilla issues and would like to know if this still happens.
I am still unable to reproduce this on edgy nor feisty.
If its still an issue can you please try with a new profile.

The attached image shows a message with big attachment while thunderbird
is downloading it. Only after it's downloaded (which takes a few
minutes) you see its contents, including the attachments list.

very slow dsl connection so i doubt thats it.

It happens with the mozilla-thunderbird I use now but I'm not sure if
it's the version that you asked about. The about box says version
1.5.0.5 (20060728), and synaptic says
yep thats the version i use and i cant reproduce this issue. i will do
some more digging and see if i cant find out.
