I'm going to have to concur. NotifyOSD is annoying at best.
It should be at least movable and disable-able without hacking.
No disrespect to the developers. It looks cool and all, but
practically... It's obnoxious.

The fixed size/position is a similar problem on large monitors - it is
way over to the right and tiny on my HD monitor (which I can plug into
