Attaching the rules.ini file from stegdetect 0.5 so people coming to
this bug don't have to fetch it from outguess.org.
Put it in /usr/share/stegbreak/.

Pos
Markus Thielmann, can you confirm again that you are able to use
stegbreak? I am using Hardy and am still having a problem.
A fix is to download the rules.ini file from the 0.5 source code on
http://www.outguess.org/download.php
Then move it to /usr/share/stegbreak/rules.ini
Then you can run st

I purged stegdetect (stegbreak is included in that package) but I still
get the same result:
stegdetect 4333138.jpg

stegbreak 4333138.jpg
stegbreak: fopen: /usr/share/stegbreak/rules.ini: No such file or directory
Does hardy includes the rules.ini file?

Does work in Hardy. Would you mind trying to purge and reinstall
stegbreak?

I filled the bug some time ago, I dont remember what version I was using
at that time.
Right now Im using gutsy. The link is gone and stegbreak fails because
it needs the file:
$stegbreak 173370891.img.jpg
stegbreak: fopen: /usr/share/stegbreak/rules.ini: No such file or directory
--
rules.ini
What version of Ubuntu are you using? Is this still an issue in Gutsy or
Hardy?
