It also happens with Realtek alc888. Ubuntu is unable to detect when
the headphones are plugged in the front and mute the speakers. I've
tried updating the drivers from Realtek and used every sound control
program in ubuntu including alsa-mixer but there is no way of getting
the speakers to auto m
