Public bug reported:

Flash completely fails to execute from Google Chrome 5.0.342.7 beta
version.

apt:adobe-flashplugin?channel=$distro-partner when trying to install
latest version with message stating repository unavailable, despite
enabling previously. Installing Adobe Flash Plugin from Ubuntu Software
Center also fails, with no error message. BoingBoing.net replies with
"This content requires the Macromedia Flash Player.Get Flash" and
Grooveshark.com advises "If Grooveshark does not load, please ensure
that you have the latest version of Flash Player installed, and
Javascript enabled." yet no adblocking or Flashblocking software or
extensions are installed. Flash works OK in Opera 10.10 and Firefox
3.63.

Ubuntu: 10.04
Chrome: 5.0.342.7-r42476
Expectation: Flash on a web page should show a PLAY icon and clicking on it
should play
Result: Error message stating Flash is not installed

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
