This bug is definitely valid and current. I'm having exactly the same
issue on 10.10:2.6.35-28 . I'm using a 16GB card formated to EXT2. In
Nautilus after a reboot "computer:///" shows that Generic-mulit-card
and Filesystem are both present but after inserting the SD card and then
"Safely Remov

I see this bug.
I inserted an SD card in my computer's sd card reader, viewed some
pictures that were on it, then safely removed it using nautilus. After
that the SD card would not show up after I reinserted the card. And
nothing at all was logged. I logged out my session and back, and that
didn't
