Public bug reported:

Description: Ubuntu lucid (development branch)
Release: 10.04

When I connect my Canon IXUS 75 Camera via USB, it is no longer
automatically detected and offers no options on what to do when it is
plugged in. This is what I see in /var/log/messages

Apr 7 17:47:25 coppermine kernel: [74572.850030] usb 1-4: new high speed USB
device using ehci_hcd and address 5

chosen from 1 choice
Apr 7 17:47:55 coppermine kernel: [74602.229341] usb 1-4: USB disconnect,
address 5

I have used shotwell, and I am able to import the pictures of the camera
in PTP mode, but I am unable to see the actual camera in Nautilus,
browse the photos or retreive AVI's off the camera.

I have attached some logs..Please help.
