Nobody tested the -proposed upload and gave feedback here for more than
10 months, and I guess nobody cares about edgy universe any more, so I
removed the edgy-proposed package.

After looking it over i have decided to not fix this for feisty as the
fix would have to be in gutsy first. there have been no upstream fixes
since edgy. Please see bug #119702 for more info. Once its replaced in
gutsy I will see about asking if i can backport it to feisty but one
step at a time.
I took this to build in patch for feisty.
I think it would be a good idea to remove this from gutsy and replace with new
package XQDE. I will file a bug on it and if someone want sto do it go for it.

Thank you for the extended effort in attempting to resolve this issue.
My apologies that the patch has not recieved revew. I've unassigned it,
and set "Confirmed" instead of "In Progress", just because there hasn't
been progress in a while, and at this point it needs to be fixed in
gutsy before it
I downloaded kxdocker-resources, just like it said, and it didn't
install anything after installing it.
The tarball contains a plugin, theme and sound folder. The plugin folder
has the same content found in kxdocker-data. In other words, it does not
supply the libs it's looking for.

Can you fix the kxdocker in Feisty (now since released) as well?
I've seen Bug 105423 and Bug 89747 as dupes as this but for Feisty.

Don't understand how the debdiff is suposed to be used in order to fix the
problem.
Can anybody help?
Also, this does not solve the problem with the missing plugins and other
resources like the configurator, right?

kxdocker.debdiff only fixes the xml files. It could be better to report
a new bug for kxdocker-package about the other issue.

There is a workaround to continue using kxdocker until they fix it,
although in an much earlier version: installing DEB packages from Debian
Testing repository.

Can we get an estimated time to release an update of the package?
I've managed to get it running but with the configurator, and a minimal

I also have the same error after upgrading from dapper to edgy... kxdocker
worked fine before.
Anyone have a workarround instead of compiling from source a new package?
Basically it seams we're just missing a bunch of files. Can't we get them
somewhere?
