** Description changed:
Ubuntu 10.04 beta 2 is the first one in this test cycle I could boot on
my machine. However I have noticed that the volume manager detects my
sound cards but I cannot select them for output or input. For the output
- the only selection available is dummy audio device.
On the school computers with standard on board audio and Pentium 4's
10.04 will only send sound out the sound ports and no longer works with
the on-board speaker like 9.10 and below does.
