Binary package hint: simple-scan
Simple scan should allow some basic quality threshold settings to allow
some control of the eventual file size. For example, a 10 page PDF was
saved as a 13MB file, which is borderline too large to send around. It
should ideally pop up a slider showing quality and projected file size.
