I've got 10.04 RC1 installed at present. Everything seems to work,
except suspend. Boot is nice and quick though.
I've added the 2.6.34-999.201004281008 kernel and I'm using it now for
testing. I ran (most of) the system tests, they went fine for the most
part. An exception was the dead pixel
No, suspend didn't work. The computer goes to sleep but when I press the
power button, it just doesn't wake up.

If you could also please test the latest upstream kernel available that would
be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue.

I downloaded todays (16APR2010) Ubuntu lucid build and with that I could
successfully boot this computer. That build didn't have a dialog box
with language choice and the option to test or install Ubuntu, it just
booted directly. I ran most of the tests, that went well for the most
part.
Update: booting (from a thumb-drive) fails just before the menu is
displayed for language choice, etc, but I can open a console window
using Ctrl-Alt-F1. The following messages then scroll on my screen (use
Ctrl-w to stop scrolling, Ctrl-c to get a command prompt):

In the console window, I mounted my Ubuntu volume using:
sudo mkdir /mount
sudu mkdir /mount/vol
sudo mount -t ext4 /dev/sda6 /mount/vol
(Now I won't forget how I did it)
I saved the contents of /var/log and I've uploaded a gzip file with
/var/log/*.log
I can confirm that the thumbdrive
