lxdoom is not a descendent of Doomlegacy - it's a descendent fork of Boom (see
http://prboom.sourceforge.net/about.html#history) . Doomlegacy is a fork off
DosDoom (see http://doom.wikia.com/wiki/Doom_Legacy ). You may want to also
look at the Doom
Now it's lxdoom :-)

Looks like doomlegacy has become unmaintained in Debian (
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=doomlegacy-sdl ) and is
no longer packaged in Feisty. Not sure how to resolve this...
