Heh, just picking up where the discussion left off in September 2006,
about whether this bug has been fixed :)
I see a lot of SQUASHFS errors in the log and we did have an important
squashfs bug fix just before *edgy* final. Is this from that bug?
Zoe, if you're still reading this could you try
Nirvana, Dennis is absolutely right - the Dapper point release doesn't
fix this. Per http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUbiquity, please don't
close any ubiquity bugs unless you're actively developing and fixing
bugs in ubiquity yourself.

Now Which CD are you trying to install *Ubuntu on? Please give Flavour
and version (6.06.1 was just released a few days ago and should be free
of this install bug, whereas 6.06 was released in June and is known to
have bugs when installing from the Live CD)
