This breaks on a fresh install of vivid.
Hal is no longer available on vivid, so the program does not work.
So no GUI to configure my IR receiver.

I am trying to use gnome-lirc-properties in Utopic Unicorn 14.10 but
unable to start the program.

I can't understand why this software is packaged.

This bug Still on Quantal and will remains until at least one of these
be satisfacted:
1) Gnome-lirc-properties got patched to do not depend hal anymore
2) Ubuntu add hal as dependency of gnome-lirc-properties (Argh!)

Runs fine once hal is installed.
