I am looking for a fix for this annoying bug for a long time!
Before this the workaround I used it was remove mini-pci tv card (avermedia
A309) from my laptop!
I tested it on Ubuntu 10.04 x64

I'm removing the 'regression-proposed' tag as Lucid doesn't have any
kernels in -proposed and as confirmed in the bug description, this is
against the 2.6.32-21.32 which is in the main release pocket.
Examining the warning here, it's clear that resuming from suspend took
much longer than expected.
