Binary package hint: cups
My Epson AcuLaser CX11NF worked fine in Karmic, but has not worked under
Lucid. (My other laptops continue to print fine.) I've
deleted/reinstalled the printer several times, thinking that this would
fix the problem, but it doesn't.
I add the printer. I have it set up to connect over my home WiFi
network (the printer is plugged into an Apple AirPort). So, when I
install it, it automatically finds the printer, installs the drivers,
etc.
It then tells me everything is fine when I print test pages (or anything
else), but nothing ever actually reaches the printer. Nothing remains
in the print queue: Lucid seems to believe the print job has been
successfully delivered and completed. But nothing is happening.
I'm using Lucid 10.04 LTS.
