guess what it will do, I chose not to give it that right.

This doesn't sound like a gnome-session issue - it still runs startup
applications as normal during auto-login and applications added to
Startup Applications by a user shouldn't depend on a particular order
for things to start (anything added by the user is started in the
Application phase anyway,
