fix is the following :
add "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu lucid partner" in repository urls
refresh package list
uninstall all lightning-plugin related package in synaptic (shall be the only
choice)
uninstall all google provider related package in synaptic (shall be the only
choice)
hu ok It's fixed now I re-installed lightning using the official
mozilla plugin and it now works!

hummm this is even worst... I desinstalled the icedtea6-plugin
I put "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu lucid partner" into synaptic
I can now install the sun-java6-plugin
but now thunderbird don't display any error message but lightning don't load

This problem is not related to lightning-extension, it is a bug in
icedtea6-plugin.
Deinstall icedtea6-plugin, install sun-java6-plugin from the partner
repository, and the problem is gone.
