are you sure you don't hit a limit of the number of connections to the
ftp server? are you running that server? can you have a look to the logs
and note if there is any message from the server?

I'm using the latest (stable) version of Ubuntu Dapper Drake. I just
tried to open a file on a remote FTP (which I accessed by entering my
keyring password (as I had saved the original password in the keyring)
and Gedit popups and asks for the password (why does it? I have
allready accesed it throu
Thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? What sort of location
do you use? Could you get a backtrace of gnome-keyring-daemon when you get the
issue?
- gdb -p $(pidof gnome-keyring-daemon)
(gdb) thread apply all bt
