Public bug reported: Now that I've plugged in and installed my HP LaserJet 1020 (which works perfectly in Lucid), at startup I get a bunch of these messages in my boot.log (shown after the messages and before gdm at startup, when splash is disabled):
udevd[395]: SYSFS{}= will be removed in a future udev version, please use ATTR{}= to match the event device, or ATTRS{}= to match a parent device, in /etc/udev/rules.d/86-hpmud-hp_laserjet_<model>.rules:<6/9> I get about a dozen or so, two for each LaserJet model that has its drivers now installed. Doesn't affect my usage of the printer, it works fine, but it shouldn't really be there either. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- boot.log: udevd[395]: SYSFS{}= will be removed in a future udev version, please use ATTR{}= to match the event device, or ATTRS{}= to match a parent device, in /etc/udev/rules.d/86-hpmud-hp_laserjet_* https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/572840 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
