Currently using 9.10. On this system I have succesfully used each Ubuntu
release from 6 upwards. When I try to run the 10.04 rc CD the splash screen of
"ubuntu" over red/white dots is OK but thereafter the screen is garbled - just
a series of black and white stripes.
The CD is OK - md5checksum is OK - it loads on my laptop OK - so it must be
something specific to the display on my desktop. I use an oldish nvidia video
card and I read somewhere ??? about new nvidia drivers on this release.
