I can confirm that this bug is fixed at least as of 1.7.3.5, maybe earlier. So add ppa:git-core/ppa and upgrade your git to the latest version and it will resolve this bug. I dont have a link to the patch that went in as I couldnt find it when I did a search on the commits. -- You received this b

I'm having a problem using git clone on the command line. Early revisions clone ok but later ones don't make it across. Could this be related to packing the repository? I should also mention that I've got a triple-boot setup with Debian-Lenny, Debian-Squeeze and Ubuntu-karmic. Both Debian version
