After looking at Wubi, I think my idea is a bit "cleaner". I say this because when you use Wubi, the Ubuntu living inside a file in NTFS will in time loose performance as it falls prey to that NTFS partition becoming more fragmented. Having said that, Wubi would probably be an easier solution to
