So if you have enough RAM, that error message is wrong. The errors you posted above seem to indicate that the package 'libnet-dbus-perl' is missing, while it should have been installed as a dependency of system-tools-backends. Please run sudo apt-get install --reinstall libnet-dbus-perl and see
