any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an

it works using a quick tip (at least works for me)
If you still having trouble with your splash screen in lucid and do not
see the splash screen at your startup or only for a split second before
the login screen appears. Here's how it works with me.
sudo update-alternatives --config default.plymo
I am experiencing the same issue within the new Ubuntu release 10.04.
What information do you need to investigate the issue ?
